Curious George saw some English muffins on the counter in the kitchen at 6:15 which he wanted. I had intended them for lunch so I distracted him with duplo and made cereal for him. At 6:30 we sat down (after much moaning) for breakfast. Straight away he pointed to the kitchen and cried. I thought he wanted tea which I made while he screamed. He drank the tea and started eating his cereal. At 6:45 he started shouting and pointing again. He did not want his breakfast. At 6:55 I picked him up and carried him to the kitchen to see what he was pointing at. He directed me straight to the bread bin and the English muffins. My goodness what a memory and a strong will. We are now happily eating muffins for breakfast.
This is not the first time this has happened. The other day when I was putting him down for a nap we ready a few stories and then I said it was time for sleep. He pointed at a book in the book shelf but I said no it was time to sleep. So he cried and once he'd calmed down I put him to sleep. When he woke and I arrived to pick him up he was already standing in the cot and pointing at the book shelf. I duly picked him up and took him to the book shelf where he proceeded to choose the exact book he had wanted before the sleep.
Being a first timer I have no clue if this is ordinary or not so you will have to forgive me when I say, "wow I am amazed".
