The Mommy Hit Parade

Recently my son's bedtime routine includes 5 minutes of mommy sitting and singing songs in the dark. At first I simply sang his lullaby, All the pretty little horses, about a million times (or however many times you can repeat the 6 lines of the song in 5 minutes). Then he started requesting songs. It was so cute because usually when we sing he says 'stop singing' then I sang 'If you happy and you know it' to Jelly Bean and everything changed.

Now at night he requests a each song I sing and I am always astounded at the songs he comes up with and the names he gives the songs. So for your reading pleasure here is the current Mommy Hit Parade as requested by Curious George.
  • Horses Song - All the pretty little horses.
  • Happy goll song (Happy doll song) - If you happy and you know it (to which is does the actions while lying in his bed/cot)
  • Gogo song ( I have no idea why he calls it this) - Doe a deer from the sound of music
  • Noddy song - Make way for Noddy (from the TV Show)
  • Woody song - You've got a friend in me from Toy Story
  • Baa Baa Sheep - Baa Baa Black Sheep
  • Mommy song - My mommy comes back (from Clamber Club)

.....and the latest addition The Cat song - Soft Kitty from the Big Bang Theory
