Vaccination pain relief - Emla Patches

Now that I'm going through babydom again I am reminded of helpful tips I got that are not on my blog because I started it a while after CG was born. So now I'm adding those tips.

One of the best tips I got for vaccination day was Emla Patches. They are a topical anaesthetic which you put on the injection site an hour to 2hours before the vaccinations. It numbs the area so its less painful for your baby. I've used them on legs and arms with both my littlies to great effect.

They come in a box of two patches and in 2012 are about R60.
